CCJSHS Library Mission Statement

The mission of Coahoma County Jr./Sr. High School's Library is to provide access to a rich, diverse variety of both print and non-print materials that support the curriculum and support freedom of access to information to both students and faculty; likewise, to provide students with the opportunity to critically analyze information for value, to build and improve upon information literacy, and to provide equitable access to technology so that all students will develop the necessary skills to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Jr. Panther Book Den

In the fall of 2023, the library expanded. CCJSHS now has a small library, the Book Den, in the junior high building. This has been an exciting adventure, and junior high kids are now accessing the library more than ever. It is a work in progress, but there is no doubt the space is serving students.
